MGRP progress

Since I am working in a group, the progress is going really well. It makes it alot easier with two people to get all the work done. The only thing I feel that we need to work on is our citations. We have to decide if we want to do endnotes or footnotes and we are adding more sources. The feedback and suggestions from our other group members was basic info. They just gave us their thoughts on ideas for a cover page.

Tuesday Primary Election

I did not vote in Tuesday's primary election. The reason for this was because I'm not registered to vote yet. Next time I go home I will register to vote. I was very surprised when I heard that Clinton won so many states. I feel that the polls might have been rigged since Clinton was so far behind Obama then all of a sudden she's winning all these states. Even though she won I don't feel that it is going to make a difference, Obama has a strong campaign going for him. Moving on to Pennsylvania hopefully Obama can pull out a win. We'll just have to watch and see.

Statement of Claim

For the visual advocacy assignment I want to prove that being tested for HIV/AIDS is very important. HIV/AIDS is a disease that millions are infected with. The bad part about it is most people don't even know they have it and they have already passed it on to someone else. Being tested ensures that if you do have it you can take action before it becomes too serious and prevents you from passing it on to your partner.

Advocate

One thing I'm really passionate about would be to end poverty in Africa. It really makes me sad when I hear about how the people in Africa live and how poor they are. Because of this, I have learned not to take anything for granted. If I could advocate for anything, this would be my choice. I would go to different organizations that also fight to end poverty in Africa and go around to communities and schools passing out flyer's and holding speeches to try to persuade people. Also I would try to start an organization of my own and hopefully people would join and persuade others to help out.

Peer review request

Dear group members,

My last experience of peer reviews wasn't bad. One member of my group gave me good feedback and I dont know what happend to the other memeber of my group because our teacher gave me the rest of my feedback. For this paper the one problem I had was I didn't know how to start my paragraph's that focused on each part of the ad. Also I know its a little short but I couldn't think of anything else to add to my paper to make it a full 3 pages right now its close to 3 but not quite. That's all I have to say about my paper and I look foward to hearing your feedback.
